It's nice to see a throwback guy like Brandon Phillips who legitimately hates an opposing team. It started an all out brawl between the Reds and the Cardinals, a brawl I enjoyed every minute of. It angers me when players get a basehit or single, take their trip to first base, and giggle and laugh while talking to the opposing first basemen. That bothers me more than anything. So, when a player who makes millions of dollars and actually has a hatred like his fans do for the opposing team, its admirable. Thank you Brandon Phillips. Others may think that fans go too far for their teams, by dressing up, face paint and all, and screaming to the top of their lungs. You would think the players would have this same kind of passion, if not more because they're actually involved in the game. It was nice to see that out of Phillips, something we don't see much of anymore.
