Brett Favre and All of His Greatness

I'm surprised no one has made a movie on this guy yet. Once again, Brett Favre is now saying that he hasn't made a decision yet. I'm starting to wonder if his teammates lied about these "text messages" just to get a rise out of the media, because it is certainly working. The joke is on us. Brett Favre will play no matter what anybody says... EVER. Like I mentioned in yesterday's post, the Vikings planned on offering more money to Favre to see if he would reconsider his decision, and they did exactly that. Colin Cowherd made a good point this morning on his radio show. He talked about how many of the great quarterbacks in recent years have retired on top with a future in various businesses and television. Brett Favre doesn't have that. That's why it seems Brett Favre has had such difficulty making his decision. Players like John Elway and Steve Young had businesses and television opportunities right out of the gate, making a seamless transition into the future of the lives, while Brett Favre will retire and look forward to sitting in his tractor? I don't blame the guy at all for questioning his future.
