Football in 2011? and a little hazing...

Much like the fans out there in fantasy football land, I am wondering if at this day and age, football can actually have a lockout. There are many issues that need to be taken care of in the new collective bargaining agreement. For starters, rookies are getting guaranteed money that many stars in the league never see, and these players havent stepped on the field for a single play. Another issue is the length of the regular season. Many owners want an extra two regular season games with the preseason cut down to two games. I understand that the preseason is great for coaches to evaluate players and to get an idea of the skill set each of these young guys have. But, let's face it, football is America's sport, and the fans don't want to see preseason games, period. Extend the regular season, and give America what it wants! I just hope these things are taken care of well before training camp starts in 2011.

As far as hazing is concerned, it's a part of life. Dez Bryant didn't want to carry Roy Williams' shoulder pads, and karma did him in (out 4-6 weeks). When you get back Dez, be a part of hazing, take Roy's shoulder pads, and shut your mouth. If you really want to get back at him for the hazing, beat him out for his spot on the depth chart, and maybe you can have him carry your pads. Done deal.
